During fall camp, sophomore Freddy Canteen started spending time at cornerback, working both there and at the wide receiver position. The work on defense tailed off as the season began, but with little time earned on offense so far this season, in-part due to injuries, he has made a full-time switch to the other side of the ball.
“We brought over Freddy Canteen from the offense,” said cornerbacks coach Mike Zordich. “He’s been with us the last couple weeks now. I’d like to see him stay. He’s got some great ability there.
