When Jack Tuttle was granted a waiver of eligibility for his seventh collegiate season this fall, he was in the mix to be Michigan’s starting quarterback. However, injuries and setbacks have piled up for Tuttle in 2024.
Tuttle tore the top part of his UCL in his right elbow last season, didn’t participate in spring practices, and didn’t factor into the fall camp quarterback competition because he was still “working through some things”, per Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore. Tuttle would go on to be inactive in Week 1.
Tuttle’s health is trending in the right direction, though, and could even play this weekend against Arkansas State or the following week against USC.
