The Michigan Wolverines were given a huge lift on defense on Monday when defensive end Aidan Hutchinson announced that he would return for his senior season, but they now find themselves down another foundational piece on that side of the ball in 2021. Starting linebacker Cameron McGrone announced on Tuesday afternoon that he would bypass his remaining eligibility at Michigan to enter the 2021 NFL Draft.
McGrone made the announcement via his Twitter account.
McGrone’s was a Michigan career full of promise in the wake of losing Devin Bush to the NFL, as he made a big impact in the 19 games he suited up for wearing the Maize and Blue.
