ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan ice hockey team scored four times in the third period to pull away from the U.S. National Team Development Program (NTDP) U-18 Team in a 5-2 win inside Yost Ice Arena.
Junior forward Tyler Motte and sophomore forward Tony Calderone each scored twice, junior forward Max Shuart added a goal and junior goaltender Zach Nagelvoort made 22 saves to earn the win.
Freshman goaltender Chad Catt also saw time in net and made eight saves in the third period.
