Butt Among 10 Finalists for Senior CLASS Award

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Senior tight end Jake Butt of the No. 2-ranked University of Michigan football team was recognized as one of 10 finalists for the Senior CLASS Award, it was announced on Thursday (Nov. 3). He is Michigan's second finalist for the award in the past three seasons, joining Devin Gardner (2014), and is the lone Big Ten representative on the list.

Butt is a leader in the tight end room for U-M, and he has been a leader on the field as well. For this season, Butt has hauled in 29 receptions for 345 yards and four touchdowns, and he has at least one reception in 24 straight contests and 32 of his last 35 games overall.
