Brown happy with gig, not thinking retirement

Now that Don Brown is settled in as Michigan's defensive coordinator and has produced the nation's best defense, by a wide margin, his future is intriguing.

Asked today how long he'll coach, Brown joked: "How long? Do I look old?"

The 61-year-old's success at Boston College, leading the nation's No. 1 defense last year, and now at Michigan could make him an attractive job candidate. At U-M, he's making an average of $900,000 per year -- a salary only a handful of teams nationally could match for a coordinator.

But Brown wouldn't rule out another shot at being a head coach if the right job arose.
