Free Press sports writer Mark Snyder goes through Michigan’s projected roster for next season following Thursday’s loss to Oregon in the NCAA tournament:
Possible starters
Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman, senior, shooting guard: For three years, he’s been able to stay in the shadows. He played early due to Derrick Walton Jr. and Caris LeVert’s injuries and let Walton take the lead the past two years. His three-point shot improved drastically this year but improved passing will be important next year without Walton as he’ll be more of a combo guard role. He’s naturally quiet but will need to be more assertive with teammates.
