Former Michigan football coach Brady Hoke, who surfaced for the first time since his firing for a lengthy interview Friday on Detroit Sports 105.1, said it was clear to him his job was in jeopardy last fall.
Hoke, fired after four seasons following a 5-7 season last fall, discussed a number of topics including why the Wolverines were disappointing last season and if he knew he was going to be fired during the interview with show host Matt Dery.
He revealed he hasn’t had a conversation with new coach Jim Harbaugh about the program, that he speaks occasionally to former athletic director Dave Brandon and believes quarterback Shane Morris can win the starting job this fall.
