Brady Hoke's first NFL coaching stop didn't even last an entire season.
Mired in a four-game losing streak, the Carolina Panthers announced two staff changes today, among them the firing of Hoke, who was in his first year as the team's defensive line coach.
The former Michigan head coach finished the 2017 season as Tennessee's interim coach, before making the jump to the NFL in January 2018.
Hoke coached the Wolverines from 2011-2014, and was replaced by Jim Harbaugh after going 5-7 in his final season.
After being fired at Michigan, Hoke spent a season as Oregon's defensive coordinator in 2016, and then went to Tennessee.
