Michigan football's weekly radio show will have a new host this fall, as WXYZ-TV's sports anchor Brad Galli takes over for longtime host Jim Brandstatter.
Brandstatter, 66, made the decision to step away due to his workload.
“The decision to step away from the Monday night Inside Michigan Football Radio show with Jim Harbaugh was mine,” Brandstatter said in a released statement. “I made the decision based on the increased responsibility of the Michigan Football play-by-play position, and the travel involved in my fall weekends broadcasting both the Wolverines and Detroit Lions NFL games.
