Joe Bolden and James Ross III, were recognized on Tuesday among the nation’s best, making the watch list for the Butkus Award.
Bolden appeared in games in each of his three years, but took the next step in his progression last fall, starting all 12 contests. He finished second among the Wolverines with 102 tackles, a total which included four tackles for a loss and two sacks.
Ross has started 18 games over the course of his career, putting up his best season statistically as a sophomore in 2013 when he made 85 tackles, including 5.
