A documentary about the life of legendary Michigan football broadcaster Bob Ufer is set to debut in Ann Arbor.
"Football's Valhalla, the Bob Ufer Story," will premiere at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5 at Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, the day before Michigan's football team plays its annual homecoming game Oct. 6.
The 110-minute film, produced and directed by Michigan alum Dan Chace, features more than 75 interviews from members of the Michigan football family as well as archival footage detailing the story of Ufer, the former U-M track star turned iconic football broadcaster.
