A.J. Hammons now has 18 points for Purdue while Isaac Haas has 11.
Purdue opens second half on fire
Purdue scored the first nine points of the second half to extend its lead to 47-30, forcing Michigan to call a timeout.
The 17-point lead is the biggest of the game for the Boilermakers.
