Less than two weeks into the long, mostly newsless offseason between the spring game and the start of fall camp, I found myself in a desperate place. I searched for film of a punter. Specifically new Michigan grad-transfer punter Blake O’Neill. What I found has me excited about the 6-foot-2, 215-pound Melbourne, Australia native and the weapon he’ll be but maybe a little less than I was after I saw his Hudl highlights.
His highlights didn’t have any punts from there from Weber State’s game against Arizona State in week one. I found a copy of the game and cut all of his punts.
