Michigan’s defense should once again be one of the best in the country in 2024 thanks to plenty of returning production. Will Johnson and Makari Paige are back to anchor the secondary. Meanwhile, the defensive line is in great shape with Kenneth Grant and Mason Graham up the middle, as well as Derrick Moore and Josaiah Stewart on the edges.
However, both starting linebackers from the last few years, Junior Colson and Michael Barrett, are now in the NFL, meaning some new faces will be patrolling the middle of the field for the Wolverines.
