Big Ten football is finally back. Though that doesn’t mean what it normally does, as it's late October and most football teams in the conference would’ve played five or six games by now.
“It’s weird,” Gene Smith told reporters recently, Ohio State’s athletic director. “It’s weird all the way around.”
Weird is certainly one word to describe the return of college football around here, with Michigan football and Michigan State football making their debuts on Saturday. Here are a few others: surreal, uncomfortable, relieved, curious.
