Big Ten coaches, ADs talk 'uncharted territory' of legalized sports gambling

ROSEMONT, Ill. - John Beilein already educated his players about sports gambling.

The Michigan basketball coach plans to devote even more time to it now that a Supreme Court decision opened the door to legalize sports gambling in every state.

"I'm a little struck about it, I guess you could say, because that's really surprising," Beilein said Monday during Big Ten meetings at the conference headquarters in Rosemont, Ill. "The initial thought would be we better do a tremendous job of educating the young men that we're around because there's going to be more people interested in betting on games.
