As things stand now, most NCAA Tournament bracket projections include just four Big Ten teams -- the top four in these rankings. The last time the Big Ten had fewer than six teams in the Big Dance was 2010. Not since 2008 has it had just had four.
There is still time for another team or two or three to play its way into the picture, but there’s no doubt that the conference doesn’t quite have the depth of recent years.
14. Rutgers (12-12, 2-9 Big Ten)
The offense hasn’t gotten any better for Rutgers, which ranks in the bottom four percent of Division I in 2-point shooting, 3-point shooting, and foul shooting.
