Better or worse by position: Offense

While established as a proven winner, Jim Harbaugh will still be limited by who he can send onto the field this fall, just as any coach is. If he’s is going to win in year one, he’s going to have to do it with a lot of the same players that racked up a losing record last fall. To that end, we take a look at the offensive personnel groups returning, giving our take on whether each unit will be better or worse than it was a year ago.

Losses: Devin Gardner, Russell Bellomy

In a one-to-one comparison between Devin Gardner and Iowa transfer Jake Rudock, Michigan gets a player that completed a higher percentage of his passes last year for more yards, while throwing six more touchdowns and 10 fewer interceptions.
