Beilein looking at all options with Albrecht, open spot

Spike Albrecht may have played his last game at Michigan, but maybe not. The Wolverines announced the end of the senior guard’s playing career in December, after a slow recovering from two off-season hip surgeries caused constant and serious pain for him off the court while trying to continue normal team activities. That seemed like the end of the discussion, but now the door for a return has been opened a slight crack.

Albrecht, who will receive his degree in general studies from Michigan this spring, cut short his senior season early enough to gain a medical hardship waiver from the NCAA, granting him another year of eligibility.
