Michigan basketball coach John Beilein’s search to find his new assistant coaches is over.
Beilein announced Wednesday that former Wright State coach Billy Donlon and Oakland University assistant Saddi Washington will be joining his staff, filling the vacancies left behind when Bacari Alexander and LaVall Jordan left to take over the head coaching positions at Detroit and Milwaukee, respectively.
“Billy Donlon and Saddi Washington are exactly who I felt we needed to be able to continue our success and compete for more Big Ten championships,” Beilein said in a statement. “I have known Billy for almost two decades, and I love his passion and IQ for the game.
