Former five-star defensive tackle Aubrey Solomon will transfer from the Michigan football program, 247 Sports’ Steve Lorenz reports.
The former five-star from Leesburg (Ga.) battled injuries throughout his two-year career. He underwent successful knee surgery in early September, but returned late in the year.
He totaled 16 tackles with two TFLs as a freshman in 2017. His production dipped to just three stops this fall.
He figured to step into a starting role next season with the upcoming departures of fifth-year seniors Bryan Mone and Lawrence Marshall. Michael Dwumfour and Carlo Kemp are now the top candidates to start inside in 2019.
