Aubrey Solomon had one of the most unusual recruitments in recent history.
The five-star defensive tackle from Leesburg, Ga., made a loud statement when he chose Michigan over Alabama and Georgia on National Signing Day.
“Some of the Southern folks really didn’t like when I made my decision but I really couldn’t care less,” he said today during a break while helping at U-M’s high school elite camp in Ann Arbor. “This is my decision. But what I see when I came up here is just the people, the atmosphere, the academics are unreal.
