ANN ARBOR -- It's still a work in progress, but the Shea Patterson of Ole Miss days is slowly becoming a thing of the past.
That's because the Shea Patterson of Ann Arbor, in part, has not been asked to do everything so his new team can win.
Through seven games this season, we have seen a slight difference in the way the junior quarterback plays. He still relies on his arm and natural play-making instincts, but a directive has been handed down by head coach Jim Harbaugh and his assistant and passing-game coordinator, Pep Hamilton:
"Just manage of the game," Patterson said on Tuesday.
