ANN ARBOR -- Camp is a week underway and we have an idea now as to who is involved in some of these position battles.
It sounds as if competition will continue at weak-side linebacker -- and the No. 3 running back spot -- over the next few weeks. Don't be surprised if some of this spills over into game week. The linebacker position sounds competitive and may result in two guys sharing reps.
As for the quarterback spot, we still haven't heard anything official. Head coach Jim Harbaugh is scheduled to speak to reporters next week, which could bring some clarity to the situation.
