WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- It's not supposed to be this hot in late September. Not in the Midwest. Not in Indiana.
Still, less than 30 minutes after watching his young football team find a way on an unseasonably warm night in West Lafayette, Indiana, Jim Harbaugh stood in the back corner of a sweat-soaked annex inside Ross-Ade Stadium with an uncomfortable smile.
"There's no air conditioning in this locker room," Harbaugh exclaimed, not as a complaint, but as a badge of honor after a 28-10 win in 90 degree heat.
