As Michigan basketball finds its stride, so does Franz Wagner

No, Juwan Howard said, Michigan basketball's 85-66 win over Northwestern was not the best game he has seen from Franz Wagner.

“He’s played so many,” Howard said, “and had so many of those good games.”

It's probably somewhere up there, though.

The Wolverines' sophomore forward was everywhere in Sunday night's blowout victory. He finished with 14 points, scoring 10 in the first half and making two 3s. He grabbed 10 rebounds. He had five assists. He blocked five shots, including two jumpers, and had two steals.

After a relatively modest start to the season, Wagner has now put together three consecutive standout performances.
