For Arkansas State coach Butch Jones, the plan of attack is clear. Preparing to face the Michigan Wolverines this Saturday, he could be worried about the hostile Big House environment, the pressure of facing the defending national champs, or the prospect of building onto a 2-0 start.
But none of that is Jones’ focus. Instead, he and the Red Wolves are focusing on one thing: controlling the controllable.
“You can’t worry about external factors,” Jones told the media earlier this week. “The length of the football field, the width of the football field is the exact same as it is here in Centennial Bank Stadium.
