Over the course of just four days, two top 2016 prospects from within the state of Michigan have opened up their recruitments after being pledged to schools from afar. The first was Ann Arbor Skyline linebacker Daelin Hayes, who announced Sunday that he was no longer committed to Southern Cal. He was followed on Wednesday by Farmington Hills Harrison defensive end Khalid Kareem, who committed to Alabama in June.
“After careful consideration and a lot of heartfelt talks with my mother,” Kareem announced on Twitter, “in my families best interest, we’ve informed the coaches that I am decommitted from the University of Alabama at this time.
