Caris LeVert's NBA draft combine hurt his stock, according to draft analysts.
The former Michigan guard had surgery on the Jones fracture in the fifth metatarsal of his left foot March 22, hoping for a quick recovery. It was a widely reported procedure and he willingly agreed to medical tests at the combine so team doctors could examine his scans.
While he's on the expected schedule and has no setbacks, he doesn't expect to be fully healthy until mid-July and, thus, it's doubtful he'll work out before the June 23 draft.
Walking around the Chicago combine on crutches and with a boot on his left foot was a visible reminder to every team he spoke with about his status, though he still was able to meet with over a dozen teams.
