Michigan’s had three starting quarterbacks this season and none of them are long-term solutions at the position. In short, Michigan will need a new starting quarterback heading into the 2025 season. Whether that starting quarterback is already on the roster like true freshman Jadyn Davis, is added via the transfer portal, or ultimately is a 2025 commit remains to be seen.
Michigan doesn’t even have a quarterback commit in the 2025 class presently, with four-star prospect Carter Smith decommitting last week.
