MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – When Michigan took the field for its first Orange Bowl practice at Barry University today, all of its primary players were suited up and participating.
When the Wolverines arrived on Sunday night, coach Jim Harbaugh said there were a few injured players who didn’t make the trip but the starters all appeared to be on site and active.
Quarterback Wilton Speight, whose collarbone/shoulder injury affected him in the Ohio State game a month ago, seemed comfortable throwing the ball.
All four quarterbacks who competed for the job before the season were taking regular snaps, with Speight, John O’Korn, Shane Morris and Brandon Peters lined up.
