ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's basketball team recognized the efforts and achievements of its players and staff at the 54th annual U-M Basketball Awards Celebration this evening (Wednesday, April 15) at Crisler Center.
Junior Spike Albrecht and sophomore Zak Irvin shared the evening's top award -- the BILL BUNTIN MOST VALUABLE PLAYER -- and combined to collect eight of the 12 total honors handed out.
Albrecht doubled his time on the court in 2014-15 playing in a career-best 32.0 minutes per game this season, despite battling hip issues the entire season.
