SAN ANTONIO - When the 2014 Williams College men's basketball team traveled from its hotel to the Salem Civic Center to play in the NCAA Division 3 national championship game, they did so via a bus with a police escort.
On that bus, a freshman forward from New Hampshire named Duncan Robinson was plenty impressed by what he considered the star treatment.
"I thought that was incredible," Robinson said of the police escort. "I was blown away."
The police escorted Robinson and his teammates to the 6,800-seat arena, where Williams fell to Wisconsin-Whitewater on a last-second basket.
