After an up-and-down 2024 season, Michigan finished ‘the right way’ with wins over Ohio State and Alabama

It’s not about how you start, it’s how you finish.

That’s how the old cliche goes, but in this case, Michigan’s 2024 team was the living embodiment of that. The season came to an end in the ReliaQuest Bowl, and the Wolverines earned an impressive 19-13 victory over Alabama to springboard them into the offseason.

Coming off a national championship last year, Michigan didn’t have the season it expected. It was a season marred by downright bad performances on offense and some occasionally spotty defense. It originally looked to be a season that Sherrone Moore would like to forget in the first year of his tenure as head coach, but things turned around down the stretch.
