The Michigan Wolverines seem headed towards attrition one way or another this offseason with a loaded (and potentially still growing) 2020 recruiting class set to hit Ann Arbor next year. Sophomore guard Adrien Nunez had been a popular name to potentially move on considering how his role diminished as the season went on, but both The Athletic’s Brendan Quinn and The Michigan Insider’s Josh Henschke reported on Thursday night that Nunez will be back with the Wolverines in 2020-21.
Nunez began the season in the starting lineup for the Wolverines while Franz Wagner was coming back from a fractured wrist in the preseason, but only scored nine points in 20 conference games and played only 22 total minutes in the last 11 games of the season.
