LOS ANGELES -- Sometime between the final buzzer sounding on Michigan's 58-54 win over Florida State and the Wolverines returning to their locker room, freshman Isaiah Livers turned to his veteran teammate Moritz Wagner and said, "Let's not do the water thing."
The "water thing" had become Michigan's go-to post-game celebration starting with last year's postseason run and had continued this March. The Wolverines drenched locker rooms at Madison Square Garden during the Big Ten Tournament and last week in Wichita, Kansas, after two NCAA Tournament wins.
They didn't dump water on John Beilein after Thursday's win over Texas A&M.
