ANN ARBOR -- Six Michigan football players were given "distinguished scholar" awards from the Big Ten Conference on Wednesday.
The league's distinguished scholar distinction goes to student-athletes with a grade-point average of 3.7 or higher for the previous academic year.
Michigan football players Jordan Glasgow, Michael Jocz, Garrett Moores, Grant Newsome, Jack Wangler and Mike Wroblewski all received the honor.
In total, 78 Michigan student-athletes were recognized by the Big Ten on Wednesday.
