After the disappointment of losing out on 5-star recruit DJ Carton, the hope is alive again in Michigan.
4-star combo guard Mark “Rocket” Watts announced on Twitter this weekend his top eight schools, and Michigan made the list.
Among other schools listed were Michigan State, Louisville, Florida State, UConn, Xavier, Oregon and Missouri. The tweet has since been deleted.
At 6-foot-2 and 175 pounds, Watts averaged 26.8 points, six assists and 5.5 rebounds in high school last year, leading the Old Redford to the best record (18-6) in its program history, according to 247Sports.
