3-point stance: Michigan might like to repeat history

1. It may be very sad at Michigan, but the Wolverines do have a bright side, although it’s also a little spooky. In 1969, the first season under Bo Schembechler, the Wolverines lost to a very good nonconference opponent early (No. 9 Missouri); lost to Michigan State; and then won the rest of their regular-season games, including an upset of the defending national champion, No. 1 Ohio State. Schembechler was Jim Harbaugh’s college coach and mentor, and now is his role model. Harbaugh really is following in Bo’s footsteps.

2. LSU quarterback Brandon Harris sought more doubters after going 10-for-12 for 189 yards and two touchdowns in the first half against Florida, saying that the constant questions fueled him.
