3-point specialist announces transfer, will visit Michigan

During his time at Michigan, John Beilein has lost far more players to transfer than he has gained. But after two transfers saw the court for the Wolverines last season -- including second-leading scorer Charles Matthews -- Beilein is entering the market again.

Reports indicate that Austin Reaves, a shooting guard who played the past two seasons at Wichita State, will be visiting Ann Arbor this weekend. Reaves, who averaged 8.1 points per game as a part-time starter last year, would have two seasons of eligibility remaining after sitting out next season.

The 6-foot-5 Reaves has taken twice as many 3-pointers as 2-point attempts in his college career.
