In an irregular year the Big Ten opted to release their conference schedule in two separate phases. On Friday the second phase of the schedule was released.
Michigan will be back on the ice on Jan 8-9 when they take on Michigan State in East Lansing. In all, Michigan has 18 games left this regular season before the Big Ten Tournament takes place in March.
Michigan started out the season 4-0 but have lost 5 of their last 6 to put them at 5-5 on the season. This is as talented and youthful of a roster as Michigan has had in quite some time, and head coach Mel Pearson noted there would be growing pains this season along the way.
