It doesn’t matter which way you slice it, but Michigan’s entire offense struggled in 2024. It’s possible the wide receiver group struggled more than any other position group, thus limiting the ceiling of the passing attack and making life harder for the quarterbacks. It would have been fair to expect a step back in 2024 with young and inexperienced guys being leaned on heavily, but things absolutely need to be better in 2025.
Fortunately for Michigan, Sherrone Moore and the coaching staff were able to recognize the deficiencies of the group entering the offseason. The Wolverines brought in a few transfers whose size and skillsets fit the roster better, while also bringing in a trio of freshmen that have plenty of potential.
