2022 three-star athlete Tyler Banks received his first Big Ten offer over the weekend, courtesy of Michigan linebackers coach Brian Jean-Mary.
“Humbled,” Banks told Maize n Brew how he felt after getting the offer from U-M.
247Sports has him listed at 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds, but he has himself listed on his Twitter account at 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds.
Regardless of what his measurables are, he hails from Crewe, Virginia, and plays on both sides of the ball at Nottoway High School. The Wolverines are recruiting him on defense; Banks assumes he is being recruited by Jean-Mary to play linebacker.
