The new assistants at the University of Michigan continue to extend offers to high-upside prospects in the 2022 class, as co-defensive coordinator/cornerbacks coach Maurice Linguist extended an offer Wednesday evening to four-star wide receiver Taylor Groves.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pounder hails from Cross Plains, Tennessee. He holds other offers from schools like Tennessee, Ole Miss, LSU, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Penn State and more.
Groves’ conversation with Linguist on Wednesday was the first time he ever spoke with him, but it is a conversation that really resonated with him.
“It was great, one of the best conversations I’ve ever had with a coach,” Groves told Maize n Brew.
