Michigan football may have just received good news, as 2021 four-star wide receiver Xavier Worthy announced on Twitter he is delaying his commitment.
Worthy — a 6-foot-1, 160-pounder from Fresno, California — was set to commit June 27. He released a top six list earlier this month of Michigan, Oregon, Georgia, LSU, Alabama and Auburn. All the crystal balls are currently in for Oregon, but those were obviously put in place before this announcement was made.
Josh Gattis has been the point man for Michigan in this recruitment, after offering the scholarship to Worthy back in February.
