One of the top players in the state of Michigan in the 2021 class has narrowed his final list down to five schools, and the Wolverines made the cut.
Rocco Spindler, a four-star offensive lineman from Clarkston, included Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State and LSU in his top five, he announced Friday on Twitter.
The 6-foot-4.5, 295-pounder has been heavily recruited by all five schools for a long time, but Michigan has been in it the longest. The Wolverines offered him all the way back on March 25, 2018, when Ed Warinner was in his first month on the job in Ann Arbor.
