One of the latest 2020 players to receive a scholarship from Jim Harbaugh and the University of Michigan is Tucson, Arizona native Lathan Ransom.
The 6-foot-2, 183-pound 3-star safety was notified of the offer by Michigan director of recruiting Matt Dudek last Thursday. In an exclusive interview with Maize n Brew, Ransom detailed his emotions when he found out the good news.
“It was hard to believed at first; I was filled with excitement,” he said.
Ransom also said he called coaches that day to talk with them, but it was during one of the team’s practices so he wasn’t able to talk with them.
