Michigan finally has its quarterback for the 2020 class, as Dan Villari just announced his commitment to the Wolverines.
He is 6-foot-4, 215 pounds from Massapequa, New York. He is not ranked on 247Sports’ composite rankings, but he is No. 1,242 overall on 247’s personal rankings.
Villari’s other offers were from UMass, Kent State, Buffalo, Albany, Fordham and Central Connecticut State. Wisconsin also had interest in him, but never offered.
The Wolverines’ other option in 2020, four-star CJ Stroud, committed to Ohio State.
Michigan was left scrambling a bit at quarterback in their 2020 class after three-star JD Johnson announced his medical retirement from the sport.
