ANN ARBOR -- International Champions Cup founder Charlie Stillitano could think of only one comparison to the Manchester United and Liverpool FC rivalry.
The two teams will square off July 28 at Michigan Stadium as one of 27 matches during the ICC, a summer tournament across North America, Europe and Asia that features the world's top professional clubs.
"We are bringing the soccer equivalent of University of Michigan vs. Ohio State," Stillitano said Wednesday during a news conference inside Junge Center. "The only difference is they are both red."
July 28 will be the third ICC match held at Michigan Stadium, with the first between Manchester United and Real Madrid in 2014 setting a U.
